Well what do you know - here we are fishing again. May 2009 and about 12 mths after we took former Opposition Leader and now Prime Minister of NZ fishing for the first time on the show. The venue was Lake Okataina near Rotorua. Unfortunately the Trout didn't get the script but John Key's son, Max, saved the day with three nice fish! If you think this boat looked rather full, you should have seen the Diplomatic Protection Squad boat! It was a great weekend and according to John's personal assistant, Danielle (thanks for the photo Dani) it was the most relaxed she had seen him since election night.
